Straffan school is located in the picturesque village of Straffan, Co Kildare. Straffan is an interesting place to visit, as it is home to the famous K-Club, Barberstown Castle, Morrell Farm, a Steam Museum and much, much more!
The school was built in 1963. It is named after Saint Brigid, who is second only to St Patrick in the esteem of the Irish people. We celebrate Saint Brigid’s Day on February 1stand make crosses out of reeds in her honour.
